Simple lightweight half mask for bayonet filters in hard cases.

Following the takeover of Scott Holding by 3M, the Profile 2 half mask is being phased out of the range during spring 2019.

HALF MASK PROFILE PROTECTION COMBINED WITH COMFORT

The new Proﬁ le half-mask is a modern protective device, offering the user not only perfect protection and comfort, but also reliability, durability and low operating costs. The perfect balance of the half-mask, the extremely low breathing resistance, the comfortable fit on the face and above all the comprehensive range of highly effective SCOTT Pro ﬁlters allow it to be used for many activities in a wide variety of conditions.

RELIABLE PARTNER FOR RESPIRATORY PROTECTION

Exceptionally comfortable and perfectly seated. The lightweight and neutral (non-allergenic and odourless) TPE elastomer from which the half-mask is made not only gives the cheekpiece flexibility and grip, but also has a very pleasant effect on the skin of the face. The half mask does not bother even when worn for a long time.

The design of the inhalation valves reduces breathing resistance to a minimum and significantly reduces user fatigue,
the materials used are latex and silicone free and prevent skin irritation even with prolonged use,
the counter-tightening clamping system perfectly keeps the half mask on the face without the user feeling excessive tension or pressure,
a drainage channel located in the chin support prevents moisture from rising inside the cheekbone when sweating.
Adjustable clamping system facilitates fitting and positioning.
The cheekpiece made of soft elastomer ensures a perfect fit on the face.
The design of the exhalation channel allows for undistorted communication.
The filters do not interfere with the field of view and their positioning contributes to optimal weight distribution.

The use of the Proﬁle half mask with ﬁltry Pro is very economically advantageous compared to other available protective equipment of the same category, which is also documented by the following information:

The half-mask is composed of a minimum number of parts and the need for spare parts is negligible due to the extended service life and the materials used, the range of ﬁlters for the half-mask is quite exhaustive within the possibility of its use, the service life of the ﬁlters is prolonged not only by directing their inlets backwards, i.e. further away from the working area, but also the integrated cover against sparks, splashes and coarse dirt, the cleaning of the half-mask is easy to check and maintain and does not require additional expenditure, the hygienic packaging of each mask in a quality bag allows personalisation of the protective device.

The filters used are of the PRO2 series, and provide the simplest method of protection in the ABEK1-P3 specification, as the filter of this specification does not need to be composed of two filters-an anti-gas and an anti-particle filter. For this reason, it is often used as an escape half-mask in industrial plants or for ADR drivers.

The Pro2 series filters come in pairs for face masks and half masks with two Scott filters. They offer a wide selection of types, covering an extensive range of hazardous substances. They are produced using the latest technology and the highest quality media. Each filter features a unique cover with a rear-facing grille at the inlet. This solution protects the filter material from sparks, chemical contamination and staining, thus significantly extending the life of the filter. Particulate filters and combination filters of the Pro2 series do not use electrostatic methods to trap particles, but only microfibres of filter paper. The Pro2 series filters are fully approved according to the latest European standards ČSN EN 143 and ČSN EN 14387, are designed for reuse and carry the CE marking.
