Instructions for use:

Package contents:
1 piece of CoVidi glasses clip
4 pcs of fixation protectors (2 pcs of which serve as spare in case of loss) 1 pcs of hard packaging
1 microfiber cloth

Use:
The spectacle clip is designed for use in a full-face mask and serves as a holder for dioptric lenses. The use of this clip in any other protective equipment or in any other manner than described in this manual relieves the manufacturer of all responsibility and is at the user's own risk. The use of a spectacle clip will partially limit the user's field of vision.

Installation instructions:

1) Remove the clip from the packaging and separate all magnetic counterpieces.
2) Have a qualified professional make and fit the lenses that will be adapted to your eye defect into the purchased clip at the optician of your choice. Plastic lenses are recommended because of their light weight. The position of the lenses in relation to the eyes when wearing the mask must be taken into account when manufacturing the lenses. Instructions on how to properly grind the glass for your optician are available on the website www.covidi.cz/pro-optiky
3) Grasp the clip by the beam and gently insert it into the mask so that the magnets that are part of the clip sit on the inside of the mask visor. All magnets should be seated on the visor at the same time. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the mask visor and magnets. If dirt remains between these surfaces, it can lead to scratching of the lens.
4) Attach two magnet counterpieces to the outside of the mask (one counterpiece on the left side and one on the right side) so that the magnets sit on the outer face of the mask visor and lie directly against the magnets on the clip. As a result of the mutual force between the opposing magnets, the clip in the mask is fixed against spontaneous movement.
5) If possible, connect the external antidotes to the mask in a suitable way (e.g. with tubing from an infusion set - for disinfectability) to avoid losing them. For this purpose, the counterblocks are equipped with a special opening.
6) Put the mask on according to the manufacturer's instructions. Take extra care to avoid injury (e.g. by loosening an incorrectly fixed clip and displacing it in the mask).
7) Once the mask is fitted and tightened, adjust the position of the clip in front of the eyes using the external magnetic counterpieces. If the clip significantly restricts your field of vision or is pressing you hard in some places, do not use the clip and contact the manufacturer
8) If the clip is undesirably displaced or rotated while being worn, it is necessary to immediately stop the activity being performed and return the clip to the correct position using the external protractors. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury to the face (or parts of the face) from a loose clip or damage to the clip and its components.

Principles of use and handling

  • Do not use the clip if it is visibly damaged.
  • The clip should always be properly seated and fixed in the mask according to the Installation Instructions
  • Both the clip and the anti-clips are strong neodymium magnets. Therefore, it is very important to keep them away from machines and devices sensitive to magnetism (e.g. pacemakers, phones, laptops, watches, navigation devices in airplanes, etc.)
  • Exercise extreme caution in any handling. Neodymium magnets are fragile and can break or shatter on impact.
  • Do not use the clip if you are allergic to nickel, plastic, or epoxy adhesive components.
  • Do not expose the clip and its components to external forces - tension, pressure, bending, torsion, etc.
  • If the clip and its components become dirty, wash with lukewarm water and then dry thoroughly.
  • Do not clean the clip or its components with organic solvents (gasoline, toluene, etc.) - Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • The product can withstand temperatures from - 30 °C to +150 °C
  • If necessary, disinfect the clip and its components in an ethanol-based disinfectant and
  • then dry thoroughly.
  • If you are not using the clip, always keep it together with all the parts in the hard case included in the package to avoid damage.
  • Spectacle lenses, which are inserted into the clip, are not included in the package and therefore the manufacturer is not responsible for them and any accidents or injuries caused by them.
  • Keep all parts of the clip out of the reach of children. There is a risk of injury or ingestion or inhalation of small parts.
  • If the clip or its components significantly restrict the size of your field of vision, do not use it to drive motorized or non-motorized vehicles and other activities that could be adversely affected by this fact.
  • Store the product at temperatures between 10 °C and 25 °C
  • The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper use and handling.
  • It is forbidden to modify or repair the product in any way without the knowledge and approval of the manufacturer.
