The SD-218 Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector provides warning of smoke spreading due to smoldering or burning. The versatile, reliable and self-contained SD-218 fire detector is equipped with an optical-smoke sensing element with accurate smoke detection. The device is powered by one 9V battery (operating time up to 18 months).
