PARAT® escape hoods have been developed by Dräger in cooperation with users with the main objective of ensuring that escape from hazardous environments is always as fast and reliable as possible. Optimal functionality and comfort of fit, robust design and quality filters ensure that the user of the Dräger PARAT® hood is protected from industrial toxic gases and combustion products, fumes and airborne dust particles for a minimum of 15 minutes.

ONLY 3 STEPS TO PREPARE FOR THE ESCAPE

Advanced and intuitive: when you open the packaging, the caps that seal the filter are automatically removed. The filter then unfolds into the operating position and the hood can be immediately put on the head. Because the internal headbands are self-adjusting, no further adjustments are needed. Just do the following: open the package, remove and put on the hood and leave the hazardous area.

ROBUST AND ERGONOMIC

The designers of Dräger took note that escape hoods and comparable devices are usually worn closed by users and rarely opened - only in a dangerous situation. For these two reasons, ergonomics and wearing comfort were emphasized in the design of the Dräger PARAT packaging. When the user is working, the escape hood can be attached to a belt or shoulder strap, a clothing clip or a belt carabiner. The Dräger PARAT in its hard case can also be mounted on the wall using a bracket. In addition, the robust packaging protects.

You can choose from two types of packaging: Hard cover provides protection against splashing water (IP54) - Soft cover protects against dust (IP5). Both packages have windows that allow you to check the expiration date and condition of the device.

RELIABLE PROTECTION

The escape hoods are equipped with high-performance filters. These filters reliably protect against a wide range of toxic gases, fumes, dust particles and combustion products. Particularly handy is that the security seal on the packaging shows whether the unit has been opened. In addition, the filter is hermetically sealed with a pair of plugs.

TOTAL OPERATING LIFE 16 YEARS

If you change the filter after 8 years, the total operating life of the Dräger PARAT escape hood will be extended to 16 years. For this purpose, Dräger offers services in which the filter is replaced or professional training for your employees, which brings significant cost savings in the long run.
